Fake Coronavirus Finder

Kaspersky Lab experts have uncovered a malicious campaign that is spreading the Android banking trojan Ginp masquerade as a Coronavirus Finder.
The malicious app claims to show the location of the infected people nearby for a small fee, using this app crooks attempt to trick victims into providing their payment card data. No payment is made, but criminals steal the card data as well as the authorization password that should arrive to the user via text message. And so they can use this information to steal money from the victim. Ginp can also steal other passwords and personal data that you find on your phone.
This campaign is until now targeting Spain, one of the countries with the highest number of infected individuals that are facing a critical emergency due to the Coronavirus outbreak.
